The meeting focused on shared issues

One of the objectives of the Fundación Universitat Jaume I-Empresa (FUE-UJI) is to establish links and maintain close contact with the productive fabric and entities around the University that can add value to the relationship between it and the business environment.

Along these lines, the executive president of the FUE-UJI, Carlos Cabrera; and his manager, Gloria Serra, recently visited the facilities of the ITC / AICE Ceramic Technology Institute located in the SUPOI 8 Industrial Park, in Almassora.

During the meeting, Joaquín Font de Mora, president of the Ceramic Industries Research Association (AICE), Gustavo Mallol, director, and Gonzalo Silva, deputy director, showed the technical and scientific equipment available to ITC / AICE, as well as the research projects and initiatives aimed at capitalizing knowledge and transferring advanced technology and services that provide solutions to companies in the ceramic cluster.

During the meeting, common topics and projects in which both entities collaborate were addressed, such as the UJI's Postgraduate training on processing ceramic materials, a specialized and essential training to control processes and maintain the quality required in the Spanish ceramic materials manufacturing industry, a leader in terms of technological development, design and quality of service, and which concentrates 94% of national production in Castellón.
