The main objective is to facilitate and promote collaboration between the research groups of the UJI and the surrounding socio-economic environment.

The Innovation Promotion and Transfer Department has set the following objectives:

• Improve interaction with the socio-economic environment by transferring the knowledge generated by the research groups to society.
   
• To promote the transfer of knowledge generated at the Universitat Jaume I.
   
• Advice and promotion of participation in Technology Transfer and Innovation contracts and technical assistance, supporting companies and the research group throughout the process.
  
• Generate business innovation by supporting and promoting access to finance (CDTI, AVI, etc.).
  
• Continue to improve and optimise the information on patents and technological offerings on the Innova website
