This Friday a new meeting of the Meeting Hour FUE-UJI was held. After visiting some of the pioneering facilities of Universitat Jaume I, representatives of the companies and entities of the Patronato of Fundación Universitat Jaume I-Empresa paid a visit to the Patronal ASCER -Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Azulejos Y Pavimentos Cerámicos-.

ASCER currently integrates the entire country's tile industry, with an amount of 161 associated companies. It was a unique opportunity to learn about the important work carried out by the ceramics association, the challenges faced by the industry, the areas that make up the association, its lines of work and future projects.

All of this in a space in which Patronato's companies and entities were able to get to know each other, thanks to Meeting Hour FUE-UJI meetings launched in 2023.

A magnificent welcome from Vicente Nomdedeu, ASCER's president, as well as his team made up of Germán Belbis and Eva Pedrajas, led to the meeting in which they participated, as well as Carlos Cabrera, president of the Comité de Entidades de la FUE-UJI; David Cabedo, vice-rector for Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination of the Universitat Jaume I; and Gloria Serra, manager of the Fundación.

The event was also attended by other organizations such as Elektrosol, Simetria Grupo, PortCastelló, Torrecid Group, Macer, the Bussiness Confederation of the Valencian Community, the Ajuntament d'Onda or the Tile of Spain - Cerámica de España.

Meeting Hour-FUE UJI is an initiative that is repeated monthly and has already set a new call for June 14, with a visit to the NAYAR company.
