The
June newsletter from
elfue.com highlights, first and foremost, the opening of
registration for the
42 postgraduate programs offered by
Universitat Jaume I during the 2026-2027 academic year. This specialized academic offering, managed by the
FUE-UJI Foundation, includes new degrees related to automation, robotics, industrial digitalization, and artistic applications for well-being and health.
The newsletter also features a new edition of the
FUE-UJI Meeting Hour, held at the
Smalticeram Group facilities. This event brought together representatives from the Foundation's sponsoring organizations to foster networking, the exchange of experiences, and collaboration between the university and the business sector.
Among the other highlights is the
EDUC Retreat held at Universitat Jaume I, an international gathering that brought together more than one hundred researchers and doctoral students from European universities to reflect on ethics, scientific integrity, and best practices in research. The
EUROFUE-UJI collaborated in organizing this initiative within the framework of the EDUC alliance.
The newsletter also includes
FUE-UJI's participation in
Port Ceramic Day, an event promoted by
PortCastelló to analyze the port's strategic role in the competitiveness of the ceramic industry, as well as various
training activities developed by UJI in collaboration with the
Civil Guard in the field of
photovoltaic energy.
At the European level,
EUROFUE-UJI participated in the celebration of
Europe Day and continues to develop promotional activities to bring funding and cooperation opportunities from the
Horizon Europe and
Erasmus+ programs closer to the research groups at Universitat Jaume I.
The newsletter also covers the participation of the
European project Dynamo in the activities organized for the
International Day of Light, bringing research in optics and photonics closer to the public through science outreach activities.
Furthermore, Universitat Jaume I has successfully concluded the UJI Microcredits Plan, far exceeding its objectives with the issuance of 946 microcredits and the implementation of 35 training initiatives aimed at strengthening professional specialization and development.
Finally, the newsletter reminds readers that the
submission period for papers for the
29th International Congress on University-Business Tourism, to be held in October 2026 under the theme
"Slow Tourism: Connecting with the Essence," remains open, as does the commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the Castellón Chamber of Commerce.
