The II Conference on Emergency Nursing and Outpatient Emergencies of the Emergency Health Service of the Valencian Community (SESCV) will take place at the Universitat Jaume I on May 16 and 17, 2024. These, framed in the Recognition of Professional Interest granted by the CECOVA (Nursing Council of the Valencian Community), put in value the interest for the nursing profession of the various scientific-professional events that occur in the Valencian territory.

The congress will be held at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FCS) of the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón after the success obtained, in May 2018, in the organization of the I Conference on Emergency Nursing and Out-of-hospital Emergencies.

The first edition brought together professionals from different and pioneering Emergency Services in Spain such as SUMMA 112 Madrid, SEM Cataluña, SEPES Andalucía or SESCAM Castilla-La Mancha, as well as from SESCV itself, in order to exchange experiences, knowledge and to give visibility to the different specialized services present in out-of-hospital care.

The program of this second edition focuses on highlighting the unknown work of some SESCV professionals. For this purpose, the Conference will count on the first-hand testimony of nurses who make up the staff.

With Inmaculada Díaz Ramos as director, Yolanda Polo Pascual, Rocío Toledo Cervera, Josep Sales García, Iván Moya Bou, Noelia García Aracil, Begoña Llavata Gascó, Adela Cano-Coloma Abad, Jorge Pérez Martínez and Francisco Benjumea Llorens will make up the Scientific Committee.
