The Fundación Universitat Jaume I-Empresa manages each year many congresses, conferences and seminars in collaboration with the UJI or that it is commissioned by it, consolidating its extensive experience and know-how in event management in the province. During 2020, and despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, 13 activities were carried out, attended by a total of 2,072 people.

Throughout the year, conferences were held in different areas of knowledge such as tourism, mathematics, autism, bankruptcy and corporate law or urban planning, among others. It is worth highlighting the holding of events in virtual format, in which the Fundación Universitat Jaume I has specialized, making available to the meeting the most advanced technical means and the latest technology in live streaming platforms, as well as human resources experts in digital events.

Thus, the FUE-UJI provided technical assistance in the "Puertas Abiertas Virtuales de la UJI", held from June 15 to 18, attended by a total of 322 people; or the online sessions on "Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD", which took place at the UJI from October 17 to 24.

The FUE-UJI was also in charge of the organization in January 2020 of the V Congress of Young Mathematical Researchers, in face-to-face format, with about 300 attendees; and in October 2020, the II Congress on  Derecho Concursal y Societario; and the XXIII International Tourism Congress, which was attended by 160 persons.

For 2021, the FUE-UJI plans to hold the XXIX Congress of the Sociedad Anatómica Española, from September 8 to 12; a new edition of the Congress on  Derecho Concursal y Societario, which is expected to take place on September 23 and 24 in Benicàssim; and the XXIV edition of the International Tourism Congress, for October 6 and 7.

The Fundación Universitat Jaume I-Empresa is a member of OCUE, the Association of Congress Offices of Universities and University Foundations, an entity that groups together the departments of the universities and university foundations of the Spanish state that are in charge of the management of the events promoted by the members of their scientific communities and to host all kinds of events that are held at university venues.
