EACA is the acronym for “Computational Algebra and Applications Meetings”. These meetings are organized by the "Thematic Network of Symbolic Calculus, Computational Algebra and Applications" (Red-EACA). With them, a double purpose is pursued: firstly, to provide an appropriate meeting point both for researchers specialized in developing these areas and for those who apply them in their respective fields; second, to support and encourage the participation of young researchers.

Red-EACA is partially financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, through the Dynamization Actions "Research Networks" RED2018-102709 -T.

This XVII Meeting (biennial since 2002) is the natural continuation of those organized in Santander (1995), Seville (1996), Granada (1997), Sigüenza (1998), Tenerife (1999), Barcelona (2000), Ezcaray (2001) , Valladolid (2002), Santander (2004), Seville (2006), Granada (2008), Santiago de Compostela (2010), Alcalá de Henares (2012), Barcelona (2014), Logroño (2016) and Zaragoza (2018). The 2020 edition was suspended due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19.

The Red-EACA places special emphasis on favoring and encouraging the participation of young researchers.

EACA 2022 will take place in Castellón de la Plana, at the “Escola Superior de Tecnologia I Ciències Experimentals (ESTCE)” of the Jaume I University on June 20, 21 and 22, 2022.
