Universitat Jaume I (UJI) has launched training contracts with companies and entities for the launch of permanent training courses and university micro-credentials. The Universitat-Jaume I Empresa Foundation (FUE-UJI) has been in charge of managing this training, which has started with great success in recent weeks.

The first of the training plans promoted by the University, Soft Skills for good professional development, has been framed in the agreement signed between ASCER and the Ministry of Finance, Economy and Public Administration. Its main objective arises from enhancing the skills of human talent in companies and responding to the growing need to train professionals with transversal psychosocial competencies.

Aimed at employees of public Administration, the University Microcredential in Local Innovation, promoted in collaboration with the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP), has focused on leadership and the implementation of innovative initiatives in local entities.

Also the University Microcredential Value Added Tax. Its practical application has focused on providing practical training in VAT matters. The course, promoted with the collaboration of the Association of Tax Advisors of the Valencian Community (APAFCV), covers updated legislative aspects, tax application problems and the administrative or jurisprudential interpretation of the corresponding legislation.

In terms of health, the Epidemiological Research Methods course, in collaboration with the Fundació per al Foment de la Investigació Sanitària i Biomèdica de la Comunitat Valenciana (FISABIO), has allowed professionals from the General University Hospital of Castellón to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of epidemiological and clinical research. Furthermore, it has provided a platform for collaboration and exchange of ideas between emerging professionals and established experts in the field.
