On June 10 and 11, 2025, Jaume I University will organize the Horizon Europe Project Preparation Seminar, an initiative promoted by the Vice-Rector's Office for Research through the European and International Projects Office (OPEI) and EUROFUE-UJI.

The meeting, which will be held in the Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Law and Economics, aims to promote the participation of research staff in calls for proposals under the European R&D&I funding program Horizon Europe, providing attendees with key tools and knowledge for developing successful proposals.

The official opening on June 10 will be led by the Rector of the UJI, Eva Alcón. Over the course of the two days, key topics will be addressed, such as the latest developments in the 2025 work program, the integration of social sciences and humanities in interdisciplinary projects, gender and diversity issues, ethics in research, the exploitation of results and intellectual property, the impact of projects, as well as open science and data management.

The seminar will feature the participation of experts from organizations such as the DEX Group, the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR), the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA), PNO Consultants, and the UJI Development Center.

In addition to the training sessions, the program includes coffee networking opportunities for debate and discussion of experiences among researchers from different fields.
