On Monday, February 14, was held the Erasmus+ Key Action KA2 Virtual Conference: Cooperation between organizations and institutions
The Universitat Jaume I de Castelló (UJI) held this Monday, February 14, the Erasmus+ Virtual Conference Key Action KA2: Cooperation between organizations and institutions. The conference has been promoted by the Vice President for Internationalization and Cooperation of the University, with the support of the FUE-UJI.
The session was opened by Joan Martín, Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation at the UJI, who highlighted the different actions of the program presented at the session. The Erasmus + Conference has had the collaboration of SEPIE, the National Agency for the management, dissemination and promotion of the Erasmus + program of the European Union in the field of Education and Training. Alfonso Gentil, director of SEPIE, has also intervened during the opening of the conference, underlining the success of participation in the previous edition of the program: "Thanks to institutions such as the UJI, the interest in Erasmus+ is the highest, with 58 million euros and 346 cooperation projects financed in 2021”.
The introduction to the Erasmus+ program for the period 2021-2027 was given by Andrés Ajo, director of the School and Adult Education Unit of SEPIE, who reminded the attendees: "from various institutions, you can work around innovation in the school education, vocational training, higher education and adult education sectors”.
Next, Sara Martínez Navarro, head of the SEPIE School and Adult Education Unit, presented the call for the Associations for Cooperation program, within the framework of the KA2 action in Erasmus+ 2021-2027. Martínez has highlighted in her presentation the objectives, priorities, expected results, financing of the call, as well as she has also given the attendees advice for the preparation of a successful proposal.
The call for Erasmus Mundus Design Measures was also presented at the conference by Loreta Paulauskaite, Contact Point for the Erasmus + International Dimension of SEPIE. Next, Ilija Vuckov, Senior EU Funding Consultant and CEO of EMKICE Consulting, presented all the information about the next Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation call.
In addition, three successful cases currently in force at the UJI have been presented that constitute H2OMap, coordinated by the FACSA Chair of Innovation in the Integral Water Cycle and presented by its coordinator Laura Menéndez, the CE-IP project, coordinated by the group SOGRES-UJI research project and presented by the UJI professor María Jesús Muñoz and the SenGuide project, led by Pilar Escuder, Coordinator of the UJI University for Majors. Eva Camacho, deputy vice-rector for Internationalization and Cooperation of the UJI, moderated the conference and presented the conclusions, in which she highlighted: "The Erasmus+ program for the period 21-27 is a great commitment by the European Commission and has a very important dimension for innovation and training”.
The Erasmus + Day has also had the participation of entities, associations, administrations and companies that wish to obtain European funding. Joan Antoni Martín, Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation of the UJI, addressed all of them during the closing ceremony, encouraging them to participate in the next calls for this programme. After the conference, the research groups of the UJI, which have so requested, have met with experts in European funding from the FUE-UJI to work on potential project proposals for the next Erasmus+ call. All this, in order to encourage their participation in this program, as well as give them the necessary tools to present proposals with the best guarantees of success.
