The Fundación Universitat Jaume I-Business and the Association of Technological Companies of Castelló (XARXATEC) have signed a general collaboration protocol that lays the foundations for the subsequent development of projects of common interest in the fields of training, knowledge transfer, innovation , research or any other type of initiatives linked to the areas of action of both entities.

Eva Alcón, rector of the Universitat Jaume I and president of the FUE-UJI, and Alexis Nadal, president of XARXATEC, have signed the agreement that is part of the will of the Fundación Universitat Jaume I-Empresa and XARXATEC to contribute to the promotion socio-economic development of the province and the implementation of joint actions for the development of the technology sector, specifically, of initiatives that result in facilitating the digital transformation and the creation of a favorable environment for the development of qualified talent.

Carlos Cabrera, executive president of the FUE-UJI; Modesto Fabra, vice-rector for Planning, Coordination and Communication of the UJI; Gloria Serra, manager of the FUE-UJI; and Ingrid Cumelles, manager of the XARXATEC association, attended the signing ceremony of the protocol.

XARXATEC is an associative and non-profit organization, with more than 50 associated companies, which seeks to promote the expansion of technology companies in the province through cooperation between the different agents of the ecosystem and promote all kinds of actions that promote innovation and the technological offer in Castellón and the Comunidad Valenciana.
