Jaume I University hosted the first meeting of the Plant Metabolism Integration Group (IMV), a scientific gathering that brought together researchers specializing in the study of plant metabolism from an integrative and multidisciplinary perspective over two days.

The meeting served as a forum for knowledge exchange and collaboration among professionals from different institutions, who shared the latest advances in areas such as plant responses to environmental stress, plant-environment interactions, metabolomics, volatile compound analysis, and the identification of new gene functions.

Throughout the various sessions, participants presented research results, discussed current challenges in the field, and explored new opportunities for scientific collaboration. The meeting highlighted the importance of approaching the study of plant metabolism from different disciplines to advance our understanding of the mechanisms that regulate plant development and adaptation.

The Universitat Jaume I-Empresa Foundation (FUE-UJI) collaborated in organizing this first edition, contributing to the development of an initiative that reinforces the role of Universitat Jaume I as a leading center for the generation and transfer of scientific knowledge.

The Plant Metabolism Integration Group, belonging to the Spanish Society of Plant Biology (SEBP), concluded the meeting with a very positive assessment, consolidating itself as a meeting forum for the research community and laying the foundations for future editions.
