European Accounting Review (EAR) is an international scholarly journal of the European Accounting Association (EAA). Devoted to the advancement of accounting knowledge, EAR provides a forum for the publication of high-quality accounting research manuscripts. The journal acknowledges its European origins and the variety of the European accounting research community.
Building on this diversity, EAR is committed to publishing insightful and rigorous papers that contribute substantially to advance our knowledge of accounting. With an internationally renowned editorial team and outstanding contributors, European Accounting Review is a leading forum for the development of accounting theory and practice. EAR is a Q2 JCR journal (2022) and Q1 Scopus (2022). It is classified as 3* (out of 4) in the Chartered Association of Business Schools Academic Journal Quality Guide; has been awarded an A status in the German Association of University Professors quality rankings; and is an A* journal listed in the Australian Business Deans Council Journal Quality List 2019.
The 2024 EAR conference is the second edition of this annual event. The Conference is organized by EAR with hosting and support by the Finance and Accounting Department and the Law and Economics Faculty of Jaume I University.
The papers to be presented have passed the normal referee process of EAR and will be discussed during the conference. Subject to satisfactory revision, accepted conference papers will be published in the conference issue of EAR in 2025.

The closest international airports to Castellón are València-Manises and Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport. You can also arrive from Madrid-Barajas.

Attendees can obtain a 5% discount on their train tickets. The discount authorization can be downloaded, once registration has been completed, in the Documentation section.
